Umbreon V headlines Sword & Shield — Evolving Skies (2021), the Eeveelution set that produced some of the most chased Pokémon cards of the modern era. The card comes in two main versions: the regular holo 094/203, and the alternate art 189/203 — the moonlit full-art that ranks among the set's icons and prices accordingly.

The Umbreon V versions, sorted out

  • Umbreon V 094/203 — the regular holo. The accessible way to own the card; this is what most of the affordable listings above are.
  • Umbreon V 189/203 (alternate art) — the chase version. When a local store lists one, it's usually the most expensive Umbreon card in the case.
  • Not the same card: Umbreon VMAX 215/203, the alternate-art VMAX nicknamed "Moonbreon", is the set's most famous card and an entirely different (and pricier) beast. If a listing price looks shockingly high, check whether it's the VMAX.

Listing titles include the card number — always check it before buying, because the version gap here is enormous.

Why buy Umbreon V from a local store?

Condition transparency and no shipping risk matter more as card value goes up. Local store listings state the exact condition (NM/LP/MP) and finish of the copy on the shelf, and for premium cards you can often inspect in person before paying. Compare a few tracked stores and you'll regularly beat the marketplace price on played copies especially.
