Scry

Scry is a keyword ability that lets you improve the top of your library. When a spell or ability tells you to scry N, you look at the top N cards of your library. You may put any number of them on the bottom of your library, then put the rest back on top in any order you choose. This happens before you draw your next card.

In play, scry smooths out your draws. You can dig past lands when you need spells, or push away spells when you need lands. It also sets up powerful future draws. Because you decide the order, scry gives you information and control without costing you a card.
