Megamorph is a keyword ability that lets you cast a creature card face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}. While it's face down, it's a mystery to your opponent. Later, you can turn it face up any time by paying its megamorph cost. When it flips, you put a +1/+1 counter on it, so the creature arrives bigger and tougher than its printed stats alone.
In play, megamorph is about surprise and flexibility. You can play a cheap 2/2 early, then reveal a much stronger creature at an unexpected moment—often during combat or when your opponent tries to remove it. The +1/+1 counter makes the revealed creature win more fights and survive more damage. Because all face-down cards look the same, your opponent must guess which threat is real.
