Cloud is a central character from the world of Final Fantasy VII, a setting defined by the Shinra Electric Power Company and its influence over the planet. A former member of the elite SOLDIER unit, he later works as a mercenary, carrying a distinctive broadsword that has become a signature part of his identity. In Magic: The Gathering, Cloud appears as part of the game's crossover with Final Fantasy, bringing his story into the card game.
He is known for a stoic, sometimes conflicted demeanor and for taking on jobs that pull him into larger conflicts. His story involves confronting powerful forces that threaten the world, though the details of those events are best explored in the source material. In this game, his cards reflect his combat prowess and his role as a hero.
