Treefolk are sentient, walking trees—ancient, patient, and steeped in green mana. Across the Multiverse they appear as gentle forest guardians, vengeful groves, or wise shepherds of woodland realms. Their flavor is endurance: thick bark, deep roots, and the slow, unstoppable power of nature. They often stand among the largest creatures in a set, trading speed for resilience and reach.
Typal Treefolk decks usually play a midrange or ramp game. They use mana acceleration to deploy oversized bodies, then lean on lords and payoffs that reward having other Treefolk. High toughness makes them excellent blockers, buying time to build a board. Some lists also care about lands, graveyards, or +1/+1 counters, giving the tribe flexible angles. They tend to win by grinding opponents down with resilient creatures and overwhelming size, though flyers and mass removal remain common challenges.
