Bards in Magic are performers whose art carries real power — storytellers, musicians, and orators who inspire allies, unsettle foes, or weave magic through song. They appear across the Multiverse, from high fantasy courts to post-apocalyptic wastelands, often in white, red, and green, where their talents translate into support abilities, token creation, or value-generating effects.
Typal Bard decks usually play as toolbox or value engines: rather than swarming with cheap creatures alone, they chain together creatures that reward casting or controlling other Bards. Expect a curve of utility creatures, some anthems or cost reducers, and payoffs that turn a wide board of performers into card advantage or a game-ending chorus. Because many Bards sit at higher mana values, ramp and protection help them stick.
