Nípa Scheme

Scheme is a card type used in the archenemy multiplayer format. Scheme cards are not cast from hand or included in a normal library; they form a separate scheme deck. At the beginning of the archenemy's turn, that player sets the top scheme in motion. It is revealed, put on the stack, and its instructions are followed as it resolves. After resolving, a scheme is normally put on the bottom of the scheme deck, so schemes cycle throughout the game. Ongoing schemes instead remain face up in the command zone and continue to affect the game.

Schemes give the archenemy a steady supply of powerful, often villainous effects. They can devastate opponents, accelerate the archenemy's board, or bend the rules dramatically. Their role is to make one player a larger-than-life threat for the others to overcome. They live outside normal deckbuilding and serve as the archenemy's signature tools.
